What Is The Guild?
Together, the Foundation and Guild connect people who are passionate and committed to providing the best healthcare possible through not-for-profit resources including Baylor Medical Center at Irving, Our Children's House at Irving, the Irving Interfaith Clinic and other community health initiatives. Who Are Guild Members?They are people who are especially committed to fostering better health in the communities served by Baylor Medical Center at Irving including Irving, Coppell, Valley Ranch and Farmers Branch. A Guild member is interested in building relationships with other committed volunteers to benefit the Irving Healthcare Foundation and the organizations and healthcare causes it supports. Guild members come from every walk of life, every profession, every generation-their common passion is a love of community. More than 130 people currently belong to the Guild. Current Guild Officers for 2010:
What Do Guild Members Do?They are community ambassadors on behalf of the Foundation. They contribute money at a variety of levels to support the Foundation and Guild projects. They volunteer their time to manage fundraising events like the annual TexasFest Gala. They volunteer to perform light administrative work at the Foundation office. They identify prospective Guild members. They attend and support three to four Guild social events per year. They contribute ideas for Guild programs and support their Guild officers.
